The first thing I ask myself when designing a new piece is,
'Would I want to wear this myself?'"
To me, the beauty of semi-precious stones, glass & metal beads, is the relationship between their colour, texture, size and finish. I try to balance the clear cut with the irregular, the perfect with the blemished. I’ve always had a deep appreciation for ancient cultures, folklore, urban myths, as well as a fascination with found objects, recycled glass, ceramic, resin, wood, & crystal beads which I combine with a touch of the contemporary.
